Oil on Canvas in Black Wood Floater Frame
My niece and her husband own 2 restaurant bars in Manhattan. She asked me to paint a monkey with vodka for one of the bathrooms. (it had monkey wallpaper and accessories). I painted Sharing is Caring and she loved it. However, she decided the original should stay with me and we would make posters for her restroom. Turns out, that was a good decision because the poster was stolen, and eventually retrieved, twice! Now it is bolted to the wall. How many artists can say that their work was stolen, twice?!
