When I was a kid I remember seeing a plastic pink flamingo in someone’s yard. I thought it was the coolest thing. When I travelled and saw them in the wild I was equally impressed. With their umbre of pink plumage, long legs, and bony knees, they never cease to make me smile, so I had to paint one.
