I think my mom, Ruth, coined the phrase, "when life gives you lemons, make a martini with a twist". Mom was an intelligent, resilient, amazing human who definitely liked martinis. She bounced back and forth between Grey Goose and Three Olives. The only time you knew she may have had a little too much was when she tilted her glass at you and started a sentence with, "Well now, let me tell you...". We always enjoyed those conversations fueled by martinis and Ruth wisdom. In fact, whenever I have to make a big decision, I ask myself, WWRD (what would Ruth do) and then I do it.
