Our son loved wildlife. He would often come home with a creature that he captured, hoping to make him part of the family. One day he ran in the door with a snake hanging from his hand. he didn’t care that it was biting him, he just wanted to make it a pet. We kept it for a few days until I took it out of its temporary home and lost it under the dishwasher….He also found many frogs in SC and he would enjoy their company for a little while and then return them to the wild.
