My mom loved happy hour. Every Wednesday she and a group of friends would meet, taking turns selecting the venue, making sure that there were drink and food specials. They all had their favorite spots and the wait staff looked forward to serving their lively senior group. When we visited mom in SC, we were included in these outings. The animated conversation, good food, and spirits always made the night special.
